Emily officially joined BWD in the spring of 2011, however she has been intimately involved in the happenings of BWD as part-owner since she and Mike got married in 2006.
Following the business mostly from the sidelines, Emily learned about the many aspects of web development and online marketing on a daily basis over the years as Mike told her about the various projects and clients BWD works with. As social media marketing grew in popularity and became an effective tool for business Emily took particular interest. She began studying and participating in training to learn the ins and outs of this new form of marketing and took over BWD’s Social Media Marketing department in July, 2011.
Emily enjoys working with the wide variety of businesses that come to BWD. She finds it exciting to get to know new clients, determine which social media platform reaches a particular audience for that client and then defining and implementing a plan of action on a fun, social level.
