Mike Callaghan - President
BigforkWEB Development was founded in 2003 by owner Mike Callaghan. Mike has been creating and developing software solutions since 1995. He has worked in the Bay area doing web development work for the financial services and real estate industry. Since founding BigforkWEB the company has grown and expanded, providing service to clients locally and worldwide.
Mike enjoys working with clients, merging their ideas and needs with our technical and creative capabilities to achieve a final product that enhances their businesses. Mike, wife Emily, and their two labs, Kaya & Zoe enjoy being able to work and live in such a beautiful place such as Bigfork and Northwest Montana.
RoAnna Lau - Project Manager
Native to Colorado, RoAnna and her family moved to the Flathead Valley of Montana in the summer of 2003 for a change of pace and a nice place to raise her boys.
Studied multimedia/computer animation at the Colorado Institute of Art from 1998-2000. Areas of study and experience include computer graphics, animation and other multimedia applications involving audio, video and director applications.
Before relocating to Montana and coming on board with bigforkWEB, RoAnna was part of a marketing firm in Colorado, learning and working in design and print.
Jana L. Primmer - Project Manager
From a fishing village on the coast of Maine, to the Olympic Peninsula of Washington, to the desert region of Oregon, Jana comes the long way around to finding the valley she now calls "Home".
With an extensive background in office administration and project management, Jana compliments the Bigfork Team with organization, efficiency and a drive to keep projects in forward motion. Jana's longevity and experience in a 12 year career with a fast-growing company in Oregon benefits Bigfork WEB as we ourselves grow and expand and seek to serve our clients well.
With a history of establishing life-long relationships with clients, Jana brings a personal and human side to the world of web development, facilitating communications between our developers and our customers for everyone's greater success.
Jana has fully embraced the wild and wondrous outdoor opportunities in the Flathead Valley, and is proud to make her home here with her husband, son and 3 dogs.
Danielle Taylor - Creative Director
Dani graduated from the University of Montana with a BA in English in 2004. She worked for a web design company on campus all through college where she was an accessibility expert and team leader. Upon graduation she moved to Portland, OR. After a year in design and marketing at a small credit union, she took a position at the Port of Portland as a web developer in the marketing department. There she focused mainly on email marketing, newsletter creation, website stats and updates to portofportland.com.
Now back at home in Montana, Dani brings her experience and passion for the web to BigforkWEB and plans to continue to learn and grow in a field that she loves.
Dave Short - Senior Developer
Dave has been involved in web development for over a decade, learning HTML and Perl in middle school and moving on from there. He started work on a degree in English Education at the University of Montana, but never finished it. Computer programming was too tempting to resist, and in 2005 he switched to Computer Science. To support his longer-than-usual schooling, he found a job as a tech at the residence hall help desk, and worked his way up the chain until he was the lead web programmer. Along the way, he learned to apply his education in software engineering to web applications, focusing on code reusability, security, object-oriented architecture, and design. Upon graduation in 2008, he moved to Kalispell to start work at bigforkWEB.
Andrea Goff - Business Manager
Having lived in the Flathead Valley since 1994, Andrea has been an active member of the Flathead Valley community. Her past work experience includes 11 years with AT&T in Sales Management in New York City for Wall Street clients in the early years of the Internet. Since arriving in her Ford Explorer, packed to the gills in the summer of '94, she has had a wide variety of interesting employment. This includes Managing Director of the Bigfork Community Players, line cook at the Swan River Cafe and Tuscanys Ristorante, Christmas Tree Farm Inventory Clerk, Secretary for a local Sculptor/Businessman/Painter, Executive Director of the Swan River Corridor Project, Bigfork Area Chamber of Commerce and Glacier Performing Arts Center. She is also an active volunteer in the Flathead Valley with the Rotary Club of Bigfork and the Flathead Community Foundation.
Her interests and passions are unlimited but if she had to pick a few they would be kayaking, golf, hiking, tennis, camping, music, a real good book, live theater, belly laughing, good food, cooking, her family, friends, and dog.
She believes that in the world of business the client is number one and good service and integrity will win every time.
Steve Horowitz - Sun Valley Office
Steve Horowitz leads the marketing and sales efforts of BigforkWEB Development in Idaho. Working with our client companies, he determines the client's needs, market positioning, branding and other marketing concerns. After determining the needs, look and feel, internet solution which satisfies the client's internet goals, Steve works with our team to create a product that best presents the client company to their customers, members and stake holders.
Steve's background in marketing and sales was forged during his creation of six companies with worldwide distribution, international manufacturing, importing and exporting, product design and development, marketing and advertising. Recently the staff director of the non profit Golden Triangle Enterprise Facilitation Program of North Central Montana, he lives in Ketchum, Idaho, with wife Lisa, 6 year old twins Jack and Kate, and dog Early.
An avid blue water sailor, mountaineer, and pilot, Steve's lifelong interest in computers and the internet allow him to bring a new level of professionalism for web design and development to Idaho.
Kevin Cole - System Administration
Coming from a programming background, Kevin started dealing with system administration in the late 90's when he was working with a team of programmers from the federal government. Kevin now manages a wide range of systems across the United States and began working with bigforkWEB in 2001. Before bigforkWEB, he learned a great deal about many different systems. Kevin particularly took a liking to the Linux operating system because of the flexibility, security, and functionality it offers in an Internet environment. Kevin really enjoys working with clients and developing solutions that make their business more productive and profitable.
Kevin, wife Nikki, and their dog Maia enjoy traveling. Every year they look forward to traveling some place new. Kevin also has become very fond of Jeeping in the Red Rock deserts of Utah.
Chris Uzzi - Director of Development
Prior to moving to Bigfork in 2005, Chris, wife Aimee, and his two daughters hailed from Truckee, CA. They enjoy all that the Flathead Valley has to offer, including skiing and hiking the beautiful terrain with their two Malamute dogs. Chris cut his teeth in Internet marketing and Web development in 1994 when he worked as a creative and quality assurance director for the Internet Shopping Network (ISN). This innovative Internet company--a subsidiary of the Home Shopping Network--was a leader in the development of retail sales of computer hardware and software through their Internet site.
Chris moved on from ISN in 1996 after being recruited by a small Internet startup company called Yahoo! He started as their Interactive Promotions Director, overseeing all Yahoo! front page promotions, including account management and creative direction and production. He was later promoted to Promotions Manager, in which capacity he directed a team of creative and technical directors. This role allowed him to gain experience in production, as well as sales and marketing. In 2001, Chris left Yahoo! to start his own Web development business, which he successfully operated until coming on board with bigforkWEB Development in 2005.
Sharon Ann McIntyre - Web Developer
Sharon spent over six years in the gaming industry utilizing her BS in Computer Science. Working on numerous types of gaming platforms (PC's, Xbox, Playstation, etc.) Sharon had the opportunity to participate in the creation of many well-known and popular games. Through this experience, she has learned countless number of software applications (Maya, 3D Max, Rhy, 2D software packages, scripting languages, etc) and has worked in a variety of software languages ranging from C++ all the way down to Cobol.
Sharon enjoyed her work but not the location; in 2003 she moved up to Big Sky Country with the intent of enjoying life as well as her job. Sharon's past experience and positive attitude have allowed a productive change from the gaming industry to web development, and she is embracing the html and php world. She has not only found enjoyment in her vocation, but now also finds enrichment and satisfaction in the place she lives.
Brook Harding - Web Developer
At a very young age, Brook began educating himself in the art of web design. He found that he enjoyed the creativity of designing web sites, as well as the challenge of coding them, and it quickly became a hobby that encompassed his spare time.
After finishing high school, Brook enrolled in classes at Flathead Community College to further his knowledge and ability in web design, including courses such as Interactive Media for the Web and Advanced Development with Dreamweaver.
With formal education to compliment his hands-on experience, Brook joined BigforkWEB Development in January 2007. He enjoys all aspects of web design, including Flash, JavaScript and PHP, with a special interest in creating captivating and logical page layout. Brook displays a special talent for learning clients' preferences, and with a great eye for detail, working hard to achieve the end result they envision for their website.
Kathryn McLeod - Office Manager
Kathryn has lived in Bigfork for the past 25 years. She has a Master's in Public Health from the University of Washington and has worked in management positions in non-profit organizations for the past 30 years. She enjoys working with a variety of computer applications and making life easier for the staff at Bigfork Web.
Kathryn loves the outdoors and the small town feel of Bigfork. She spends her spare time walking, hiking and cross country skiing with her two Golden Retrievers and reading at her home overlooking Flathead Lake.
